Egyptian Priestesses and Chickens

Que tal mis queridos,

What a dandy week that we had here in the grand city of Mendoza. Lots of walking and talking with nobody listening, but hey, it was still great. It’s super fun trying to figure out the best way to approach people in the street without them telling you to go and sniff a turtle. Forgive the language...jaja.

Anyway, we were talking with a recent convert named Nelly, who says just about whatever comes to her head about the church, and sometimes she says some super super crazy stuff. We’ve been having some problems in testimony meetings, so we went over to try and help her share a more chill testimony. The other day, we were in her house and she started telling us a story about her grandmother and how she was an Egyptian priestess who could change herself into a chicken or a duck on demand. Pretty weird.

Looks like we’re gonna have a baptism this coming Sunday. SUPER EXCITED! Haven’t helped somebody make this sacred covenant with God in forever. Her name is Analia, and she’s so great. She’s come a long way from where she was, and I’m really excited to see her progress further. This gospel changes lives, it’s truly amazing.

Alma 5: 43-51 is just a little something something y’all can read. Put your name in for Alma’s, sounds cool.

Don’t have any pics cuz I forgot my adapter, sorry.

Love you guys, have a great week.
