He made it home!!!!

Not the homecoming we all envisioned but joyous non the less!
We were told we would be contacted if Austin would be coming
on the date and time set. The date and time had been changed a
few times so Ryan just kept checking the phone....nothing. So we
all three go for a walk around 7:30 pm and about 8 pm Ryan gets
a cell call, "Dad where are you"? We are all listening and can't
belief it! It took Ryan a minute to register "Who is this'?...., but I
at once am thinking; "Elder Austin got home and no one let us
know-he's alone at the airport"! What a terrible feeling for parents!
Thankfully we are almost home from our walk. We dash to the house and
within minutes we are on our way to the airport. We have posters,
firework plans, family gathering plans....everything ended up
jumbled and bumbled but ....hey.....he got home safe and sound so
PERFECT homecoming! Nice masks don't you think? Hardly
anyone at the airport to wear them for but we wanted to keep
the mission rules! There were a few people milling around but
basically Austin was the last missionary to be picked up...sob!
One for the books! However I'd like to edit that chapter big time!
(All the captions for these photos are from Mom).

Nothing says love like a candy bar poster! LOL
Lehi, Utah here we come!

Back porch gathering, no hugging, no kissing...but
lots of joy and laughs!

Mom got me "True Moo" chocolate milk!
She DOES care!

Mask off for a smile!

Now we can see the poster! 10pm was a bit dark
for an outdoor welcome home! The sparklers
showed up though!

Chloe remembers me! Austin appreciates
our dog A LOT more now; South American dogs
are vicious!

Mom's white board up outside our home for the
two week quarentine...."Family is for......2weeks"!

Parents waiting in the stake president's office
as Austin gets interviewed by Pres. Spencer...
see Austin picture in the background.

Released; let the quarentine begin! We're smiling now....
in two weeks?!

Austin was very surprised at Isaac's growth; "Isaac's a BEAST"!

Easter egg hunt! I think Amber is hording them under her dress?
Ha Ha! Baby due in two weeks!
Kirby, Linus and Nolan enjoying an ice cream....Chloe prepared for clean up!

Sunday, day of rest after creating the ship lap wall behind us! Three day job!

Finally get to meet Nolan! Nice work on the poster buddy!

Drive into American Fork Canyon on Sunday; created a music video-
"For the Beauty of the Earth".

We "kidnapped" Grandma Linda and brought her home to see Austin
and have a break from being home alone!

Coming home a little early has it's advantages....
got to welcome Emma Lorna into the family!
